IB Scholarship Programme at RISS 2012-2013
RISS is pleased to announce the continuation of its successful IB Scholarships Programme* for 2012-13.
IB Scholarships worth 20% to 100% off Tuition Fees are awarded to students based on the following categories:
IGCSE Students
100% Scholarship - Students may be offered a 100% IB Scholarship based on predicted grades or actual results in a minimum of 9 (nine) IGCSE subjects all with grades of A or A* and following an interview with the Head of Secondary.
50% Scholarship - Students may be offered a 50% IB Scholarship based on predicted grades or actual results in a minimum of 5 (five) IGCSE subjects all with grades of A or A* and following an interview with the Head of Secondary.
20% Scholarship - Students may be offered a 20% IB Scholarship based on predicted grades or actual results in a minimum of 5 (five) IGCSE subjects all with grades of C or higher and following an interview with the Head of Secondary.
Non- IGSCE Students
Students who have not studied the University of Cambridge IGCSE can be awarded an IB Scholarship based on the conversion of their Year 11 or Grade 10 examinations, also their last school report plus an entrance test examination and an interview with the Head of Secondary.
Vietnamese School Students
Students can be awarded an IB Scholarship based on the conversion of their Grade 10 examinations, also their last school report plus an entrance test examination including an English Test and an interview with the Head of Secondary.
*All Scholarships will be for 2 (two) years dependant on the student achieving a minimum of 30 points on their end of year exams in the first year (excluding TOK and the Extended Essay). If the student does not achieve this minimum, the school reserves the right to withdraw the IB Scholarship for the second year.
