This day allows students to express their respect for their teachers. Students prepared a week in advance to celebrate this day by making cards or presents for their teachers. The primary assembly was really enjoyable. The audience was delighted to watch a Vietnamese traditional dance "Trong com" from the secondary students. All 8 dancers were beautiful in the traditional "Ao tu than" (four-flap dress).A piano performance then followed from a very lovely girl, Sumin, 4W.
Some students from Years 4-6 joined Julie, Year 10, in a Hip Hop Dance. All of them looked very cool and stylish. It took them nearly one month practising the dance and it was all worth it!. The last performance was from Vietnamese Reception children. "They all look so cute!" was what all teachers and parents said. Thanks to all those who helped us prepare for this assembly. It was a big success! ~ Ms Tram Hau Thi Bich
